Sisterhood

Sisterhood (or what we like to call “Xisterhood”) is one of the best parts of being a member of Alpha Xi Delta. Our sorority is our home away from home; our members are our family. Sisterhoods allow us to have quality bonding time with each other while also having some fun. These events range from pizza/movie watching and apple picking to bow making and even a Slip N Slide water games event. Whatever it may be, many of the Alpha Xi Deltas favorite memories are made during these fun sisterhood events.

Two times during the school year, we get a chance to share our sorority experience with our biological families: Dude's Day and Ladies' Weekend. Dude's Day takes place during fall semester and Ladies' Weekend in spring semester. In the fall, we take our dads or guests to a home football game to cheer on our Hawkeyes together. Then in the spring we invited our moms and guests to a fancy luncheon with amazing food. These events give us a chance to show our families around our house and introduce them to our fellow members and Greek life.
