Chapter Officers

Claire Catlett

President

I am currently a Biomedical Engineering major with a math minor at the University of Iowa. My college experience has been nothing short of amazing because of the friendships, the memories and the opportunities I have found within the Sigma Chapter! I am honored to be leading this beautiful and inspiring group of women over this next year!

Hannah Wieland

Chapter Life Vice President

I am a Finance Major here at the University of Iowa. When I started at Iowa, I was looking to create life long friendships and find a place I could call home. Joining AXID was one of the best decision that I have made during my time at Iowa. I have grown tremendously and made the best genuine friendships in this sisterhood. I never saw myself in a leadership role, but was encouraged to get involved within the chapter. With the support of my fellow sisters, I was honored to be selected for Chapter Life Vice President. I am super excited to help lead this chapter and ready to see what this year holds!

Alexandra Bazianos

Membership Vice President

My name is Alexandra Bazianos, and I am the new Membership Vice President of Alpha Xi Delta. I am from Rosemont, Illinois, which is a small bordering suburb of Chicago. Being a transfer student to the University of Iowa this year as a sophomore, I am super excited to continue my studies and a Business Management and Business Analytics major with a Minor in Criminology, Law, and Justice. Going through the recruitment process with Alpha Xi Delta, made me feel at home. I talked with girls who seemed to be my forever friends. I have always been able to be my authentic self, and when I knew AXiD was my home, I had butterflies in my stomach. Every girl is kind, compassionate, and loving towards all of her sisters. During the preference ceremony, I knew I was going to be an Alpha Xi Delta.

Morgan Godbersen

Communications Vice President

Hi everyone, I’m Morgan Godbersen, and I’m from Ida Grove, Iowa. I’m a pre-nursing major and a Spanish minor! Being from a from a small town I really wanted to find a close-knit community here at Iowa. I knew I could find that through the recruitment process. I went in with an open-mind and ended up choosing Alpha Xi Delta through the COB process. Through AXID I have found the most genuine girls who are always asking about my day, and who without-a-doubt support me through some really hard times. I’m so excited to be the Communication’s Vice President and continue to grow as a person and develop leadership skills while working closely with the amazing girls on exec this year!

Katie Kramme

Member Development Vice President

Hi! My name is Katie Kramme and I am the member development vice president! Joining a sorority was something that I knew I wanted to be apart of my college experience well before I went through recruitment. Going in, I knew I wanted to find girls that would support me, be a shoulder to cry on, and be my friends for life, which is exactly what I found in Alpha Xi Delta. During preference round, I met my would-be big who ultimately is one of the main reasons why I decided to go AXID. Since becoming a member, my love for this chapter has only increased and I’m so excited to be taking on a bigger leadership position.

Jillian O'brien

Philanthropy Vice President

Hi everyone! My name is Jillian O’Brien and I am the Philanthropy Vice President! I am from Lombard Illinois, which is a small suburb of Chicago. I am studying Therapeutic Recreation on the Pre-Occupational Therapy track. When I joined the Sigma Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta I wanted to create life long friendships and memories! Once I arrived at Alpha Xi Delta I found my home away from home and could not be more thankful for that. I am beyond excited to see what the future holds for our chapter while working alongside all of these wonderful women!
