Dear PMNs, I am seriously so excited to meet you all during recruitment. I remember being in your exact spot and feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. I had no idea what to expect, and I kept wondering if I would actually find a place where I fit. When I walked into Alpha Xi, something just felt different. The girls were so genuine and easy to talk to. I did not feel like I had to impress anyone or be someone I was not. I could just be myself, which meant everything to me in that moment. Recruitment can definitely feel like a lot. There are so many conversations, long days, and so many names to remember. It is okay if you feel overwhelmed or unsure. I promise you are not the only one. Try to focus on how you feel in each space. Pay attention to where you feel comfortable laughing, opening up, and just being your normal self. That feeling matters more than anything. My sisters push me to do better in school, encourage me to step outside my comfort zone, and are the first ones I call when I have good news or need advice. These girls have truly become my home away from home. I hope each of you finds that same feeling somewhere. You deserve a place where you feel valued, supported, and completely yourself.
